Katie Rodriguez is a journalist based in Monterey County working in local media. She is currently with the Monterey County Weekly as a California News Fellow, covering agriculture, oceans and environment, Big Sur, Carmel Valley, the County Board of Supervisors and cops and crime.
Her photography often explores the human connection to environment, community and place, and her writing is often focused on climate policy, food systems and their intersections with business.
